Ysabelle Cheung is a writer, editor and advisor of art and literature, and is currently the managing editor of ArtAsiaPacific, a 24-year-old publication covering contemporary art and culture from Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.
Formerly the art and associate editor of Time Out Hong Kong, her writing can be found in Narratively, Hyperallergic, ArtReview, Los Angeles Review of Books, Artforum, Vice (Creator's Project), The New York Post and the South China Morning Post.
She is also editor-at-large for The Offing and consultant and co-founder of the literary salon Liars' League Hong Kong. She has participated in literary festivals, co-produced podcast segments with BBC Radio 4, presented talks at Baptist University (Hong Kong) and judged the art battle Secret Walls.
She holds a Special Mention award in the 'Excellence in Reporting on Women's Issues' category from the Society of Publishers in Asia, and was nominated 'Woman in the Arts' in 2014 by The List Magazine's Women of Hope honors.
