Ysabelle Cheung is a writer and editor based in Hong Kong. She was formerly the managing editor at ArtAsiaPacific and associate editor at Time Out Hong Kong. Her nonfiction work has appeared in South China Morning Post, Hyperallergic, ArtReview, Catapult, Los Angeles Review of Books, Narratively, and Artforum.

She holds a BA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia and has been published in the anthology volumes “The Queen of Statue Square” (2015, New Ventures) and “Hong Kong Noir” (2019, Akashic). As founder and co-director of the award-winning fiction night Liars’ League Hong Kong, she has produced over 40 events.
